I got my tc back in july 07 and i put 10.500 miles
yes "10.500" the only rattle i get is from the sunroof the plastic cover, and yes the h.u. door.
when i got the car i drove from florida to juno alaska and back.
all my free oil changes where done in diferent states"lol"
you guys worry to much! "what`s the best oil?"
"how to break the motor in?" just drive the _____! that`s what it`s made for..

I have an 07 and i also have the little squeeky noise it ____es me off. today i noticed that my dash lights were the heater center wont turn on when the lights are on but turn on when the headlights are off what is wrong with that ?

 

07, 2600 miles. only rattle i have is a slight one coming from the hatch area. again, it is very slight. having music on above 20ish volume completely deletes it.

 

07 with 4500 miles and not one rattle. I got the no-rattle option from the dealer, its a genuine Scion accessory.

 

07 with only 700 miles... so far no rattles just yet. awaiting for that infamous rattle to come on and i will see where. :D


i do believe you have some wires crossed... or maybe your dimmer is on low setting? dimmer **** is located where the fuel and temp gauge located... counter clockwise sets the dimmer brighter... counter clockwise sets the dimmer.. uh dim. check that out first... then check your fuses, see if you have a busted fuse... if above mentioned check off OK, most likely you have wires crossed and you need to bring that in to the dealer and show them the problem.

 

thats ___ the car is an 07 i dont know why its doing that but its making me thinck now the lights do come on when the headlights are off so i dont know why the fuse would be blown. or why the wires would be crossed that is not cool

 

have you tried the dimmer switch yet?

 

yea i did it wasnt that last night my car spent the night at the dealer it was at the dealer all day yesterday actually. it is still there this morning they said they have not had that problem and they went out into there inventory and found one on the lot that had the same problem with the lights and the squeeky noise kinda weird if u ask me. but they are looking into it and hopefully it gets fixed soon so i wont have to worry about it no more.

 

Scion isn't going to rid the rattle problem until they redesign the car, common sense. Just find ways to DIY or take it to the dealer. If they have no idea what you're talking about, take the service manager out for a spin and prove it.

 

ok jk,. i hit 10 thousand miles a month ago and RATTLES AHOY. ahh...rear front. sides and bottom. jk. just my stereo bezel.

 

I have an 07.....4k no rattles.....
Guess I'm lucky.....
And I hear rattles like no other......

 

07 about 2000. small rattles from dash now and then depending on weather. Also small rattles from passenger side roof area, hard to know where exactly.
