Dislike. Reminds me of an eclipse.

 

I've seen enough copy cat designs with the Hyundai brand (Genesis looks like a BMW from the back and a cheap Benz from the front, the Elantra is a dead-ringer for a passat or jetta)

I dont want a car that looks like some other brand. And whats with Scion making all the lower grills so f-ing huge on all their cars? (xB2 refresh, xD, now this) Or making their grills look so godawful to start with (Camry anyone?)?

I also really dislike the idea of protruding headlights or tails. When they switched the tC in 08 to the projector headlights, they have that 'bump' on them. Now this has a tail light 'bump' on it. Leave those bumps to the bulky looking FJ Cruiser, not your youth oriented sport coupe.

That "spy shot" still doesn't show much more than we already knew... especially with the blurriness.

By the looks of that pic ^ It seems that they lowered the suspension and rid of that 4x4 look. Thats a plus. Almost looks like the current tc's hotchkis drop.

 

One thing people haven't mentioned yet is the fact its harder to debadge the front Scion emblem now. The bumper surrounds the emblem and I think won't look the best w/o the badge there.

I still think it looks like an eclipse. Maybe post it again next page and I'll change my mind.

 

looks like its gotta nice stance. I cant wait to see the first '11 tC with a turbo kit run the good old 1/4 mile.

 

When first tC photos came out, I remembered it looked pretty low too. Maybe they lower them purposely for the press photos.

From the spy photo it still resembles a lot like the current tC to me, with similar body shape and lines. I was expecting a completely new redesign.
