Okay,

Update as of 10/16/08.

Friend and I worked on the car last night for a few hours, and found out my problem.... FINALLY.

Where the rubber coupler fits over the TB, there was a hole that was leaking air out. Reason that we didn't see it, was it was on the backside facing the firewall, away from the eye.

When we took the hole setup off and went to re-install, we noticed like a crease, so we took the air compressor and pumped air at it, and low and behold, it was a hole.

So, we got a new rubber coupler, re-installed the intake, reset the ecu, and what would you know, everything is better.

Thank you everyone that replyed to this thread, after trying everything, it was just a damn hole. LOL

Thanks again,

BMP08tC

-I'll keep you notified if anything comes back up anytime soon-

i dunno. it irks me when i hear of tiny problems and people giving up, i understand blowing up your car then saying "ah...i regret it"

but i don't know.
AEN, i guess it isn't that I regret modding the tC, just that is sucked that out of the three cars I have owned and modded, this one, the one that I would say i like the most, has a problem. I would still mod this car even if we hadn't fixed the problem. tC rules as far as the other cars ive done, i.e 2000 Eclipse GT V6 and a 02 bugeye WRX.

and, i prob. will never keep a car stock, something can always be made better. LOLz

Thanks again for your help.

the rattleing is the little black piece u had 2 take off 2 get ur midpipe off...you can take that off if you want it wont hurt anything just make sure your midpipe is tight and all and put ur stock air box back on and clean the MAF and rest the ecu if that dont fix ur CEL problem then condem the 02 sensor the dealer is gonna rape u so try and figure the prob out first please i hate when the dealertake advantage of peep
