I was just wodering if anyone has taken their tC in for the clunking/crakcing sound in the transmition area and had the dealer explain to them what it is, and if they are fixing it or if they say its normal. What gives, ive read that alot of people hear the same sounds in that area, but has anyone taken it in for the potential problem?

 

I don't think there have been many reports of sounds from the transmission area... most of the rattling/clunking people have been hearing at all have been from the hatch area.

if it's "klunking" when shifting, then yes i'd say you have a problem..
