I understand your point but what about all the Lexus, BMWs, Mercedes, Caddys, Corvettes, Hummers, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, yada yada yada that don't have front plates (but do have dark **** tinted windows) here in Cali and don't get pulled over?

I guess what I'm trying to convey is that if they're going to pull over a tC, they also need to pull over these luxury rides I see up and down the state with no front plates as well. Seems like the poe-leese are 'profiling' who they pull over. I think that is wrong.
How do you KNOW that they don't pull them over? You don't.

And to answer your question a little better, all cars in the U.s. have a spot for front plate, otherwise it couldn't be sold in America. Its their choice, and I guarantee they do get caught for it

In Illinois the law states (to the best of my memory, it being late I'm not spending time to find it tonight) "Any exhaust louder than stock and is causing a newsence(sp?) is illegal"

I'm sure California being California its the same or close with the addition of passing C.A.R.B. requirements.

Probably, anyone driving a Bentley, Ferrari or Lambo could probably give a flying fack about a $100 / $300 / $500 ticket for something

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere all cars traveling in California are subject to California laws. Anyone is free to back me up or dispute me on this though.

But I'm sure if you're just passing through they may be more lenient on you.
