Default Driver seat comfort

I've had the pleasure of driving my new tC for just over a week but can't seem to get the seat positioned in a comfortable position. I've tried just about everything just short of ripping it out all together and dropping in an aftermarket seat.

In addition to the awkward positioning of the seat, is it me or is the seat just way too soft? I don't feel the firm support like I used to feel in my TSX. The lumbar support in my tC is practically nonexistent and the head rest isn't position back far enough. I feel like it pushes my head forward when it should be allowing my to rest my head by leaning back slightly. I switched the driver and passenger head rests which seemed to help a little but not enough. Also, it feels like the seat bottom leans to the left a little. I'm a pretty average size guy (6', 185lbs) so I don't think it's that... any suggestions? Should I take it to the service department or just give it more time?

Actually, I think the Scion Head RESTRAINTS (key word there, it's a restraint not a rest) are rated as some of the best in a crash in ANY car you can buy.

As far as the position, I'm about 6'2" and 250ish and I have it where I feel awesome. As far as it being soft, sit in a Corolla seat. These are nice and firm with good lateral support for this type of car. I do notice sometimes my left side rail doesn't lock in completely, you have to push it up until it clicks, but other than that I've not had any problems with my seat.

I have no problem getting comfy in the seat, but I am 5'4 and 125 lbs.
My husband is 5'8 and 200 lbs., and he has problems getting comfy in it.
He says that he feels like the only way he can get comfortable with the space between the pedals and the seat is if he pushes the seat back more, but then he feels like he has to reach more for the steering wheel than he should. If he puts the seat part back far enough, the back part is too far back...does that make sense?
He just figures he won't drive it as much as me anyway...

I like the seats fine. I sat in an RSX man that shat was uncomfortable. Gave me backaches.

Seats are perfect, even on long road trips. At least for me. The only thing I would recommend they add is a telescopic steering wheel. It is a bit too far of a reach when I have the seat back where I like it. But I really only notice this on long (9 straight hour) road trips. So I guess at that point anything besides a bed is uncomfortable!

I had a GTI with the DE Recaros..those were incredible stock seats...The tC's are very good—decently supportive and reasonably firm. The side bolsters could be better and my biggest gripe: I want my seat lower! I want my ___ on the floor boards—OK, not quite that low, but at least another three inches would be most excellent...My other car is an Integra and that seat is on the floor—just like I like.

mancide, I have the same issue with the rails locking in from time to time.
