So, No one here knows whether or not there are any DIRECT BOLT IN engine swaps for the Xb>>???

you already have the highest output "bolt in" engine... you could bolt in the bB 1.3... but why? any swap that is worth anything will reqiure quite a bit of work. I'd personally like to swap in a VW 2.0 diesel... the one that comes in the passat. it has 134hp and 247 lb/ft of torque... in a car like ours, I bet I could get 50mpg...
