Wow kid. I have been wrenching and learning from a 40 year experienced professional since you were barely done $#itting green. You are "in automotive school" and dont know the possible fixes for a simple cat code, yet think you really know it all. So you can stop with your ricer talk. And you buy a header and slap it on, then want to bandaid away the issue you caused by doing so rather than taking the time to do it right,.... by I am the ricer go back to reading import ricer mags if you are going to have that attitude.

Have fun. next time dont ask a question if you refuse to take answers from those that know what they are talking about. Typical ricer kiddie bs, and why most experience guys stay away from this site. And why I come here less and less... thanks for reminding me why that is

its all yours man, I am done reading your childish nonsense.

Damn, what is with all the hate trdmaster, the people on this forum are only trying to help you out.

From what you are saying, there is probably no easy way to fix the CEL, so doing what engifineer said is the best route to go.

If you don't fix it soon, then you may hurt your engine more and then you have to spend a lot more money fixing a problem that could've been easily fixed in the first place.

Whats more important, your car, or gaining a little extra power but then driving it into the ground.

trdmaster, I thought you were turbo'd? Or were you doing a LS7/RWD conversion like you said when you tried to sell your Nology Hotwires? And how are your law classes going? Oh wait.... now you're in automotive school. If what you say about automotive school is true, the first thing you should have done was check the code. They should have plenty of OBD readers at your school, ask one of your teachers to show you how to use it to diagnose your problem before you start adding anti-foulers or O2 simulators; it could be another problem, like a damaged O2 sensor.

It's basic troubleshooting: you have to know exactly what the problem is BEFORE you can fix it.

yea i know brian, i just wanted to fix it before i went bck to school cuz i can work on something else instead of my car, yea i was going to do the LS7 swap but its too .... compicated, it can be done but things didnt go the way i planned it, im still debating on what im gonna do, and when i do, ill have it done b4 i come to the next show, im still thinking if i should go all N/A (cuz i can get it boosted to close to 300BHP, all N/A, or turbo, or even S/C which can get me to 300WHP safely

OK. Take you car to AutoZone, they have OBD readers so you can find out what the code is and clear it for you if necessary, your second O2 sensor may be too far out of the airflow like captainlaziness said. If that is the problem, have you looked into the Weapon-R CEL eliminator or something similar? --> https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ht=invidia+cel
