The latest 0n the 06
the classic silver metallic is used on the current lexus es and it looks like it has a hint of beige in it compared to the silver streak mica, which looks like it has a hint of blue in it.
take a look and compare:

personally i like the blue-ish tint to the SSM color.. the classic silver doesn't "pop" out at me.. A lot of the silver that is on a lot of cars is just too flat.. the SSM actually had some "life" and wasn't boring.. I think the classic silver is just a boring silver like a lot of silvers..
I just heard over at toyota nation that a salesman was sent a questionairre about a luxury tC.. something about if he or his customers would like a suede or leather option.. interesting if these ever do materialize..

Nice pics of the Lexus. I am a pro photographer but I really think the 05 tC and the classic silver Lexus look the same. I do not think my 05 is blue/silver but it is does not have beige tones. I already ran mine into a garage wall and had to get body work and a paint job...thank god they matched it up like new.
taking another look at the pictures of the interior, it looks like the dial in the middle of the radio might not be a dial, but just there for decoration. it looks like the stock radio will still have the volume and track selection buttons, while the 6 disc changer will have the volume and track selection dials.

"I kind of felt that way too...then I realized, I'm in the middle of redoing my entire stereo with NAV, so at that point, had I waited, I would have useless controls on my sterring wheel"
Some Nav units allow for steering wheel controls to be used. Eclipse AVN5435 has that option for sure.

as much as i don't like the new steering wheel look, i like the idea of having radio controls. why does scion make things so hard for everyone? between needing finacial aid in order to buy the rs 1.0 grille and not allowing the 06 radios to be retrofitted to 05s, what is their problem? we want the stuff, we are willing to pay reasonable prices for it, so let us have it.

The bottom pic is the HU with the iPod and line in ports. The upper pic is the new base model which will have a volume **** not buttons. \
The steering wheel is the same as that used on the RAV 4 only with a Scion logo instead of Toyota.

A local toyota person told me that the 06s with all the NEW STUFF arent even in production yet, and when they make the announcement, they usually only release it in maybe one or a couple states, and that the general public has to wait until january. Im praying that he doesnt know what hes talking about.
