My wife left her Suzuki aero for a whole year for our last deployment to Iraq and it started right up because she left her batter disconnected.

That's all I would recommend for you next time is to leave your batter disconnected and just jump it off this time. It'll be fine.

What happened???
Well I tried jumping it and at least it got power enough to start up all the lights inside and lock/unlock doors

but it didnt start... it was just clicking and nothing.. so it cames down to replacing the battery from my dad's car to start it up, and then putting mine back on to charge... drove around for a while and it seems alright now...

my neighbor told me I should have unplugged the + side of the battery to prevent this but o well.. too late now.. next time haha

Thanks again for the comments

Yeah that clicking is bc it didnt get charged up enough. its the solenoid not having enough juice to kick the starter over.

Anyone know the CCA of our battery?

(The door remote receiver, some small parts of the ECU, an alarm system, if installed, and a few other minor bits and pieces in out cars ALWAYS draw a small amount of power, and if the battery is at all weak and left connected for an extended time, it will go flat from the constant small drain.)

u think thats bad? the battery on my cadillac dies if it isnt driven for like 2 or 3 days. haha
wow 2 days!!! hahaha
The best part was I took my battery back to Sears and they tested it and said it was discharged but they could not take it back for some reason *even though I was still under warranty*-- anyway they told me to start the car everyday to prevent it from dying. =/

i would have taken it to another Sears.
I saw a tv undercover investigation on Sears selling used battery as brand new.
They drain the battery with a light bulb overnight.
and marked it with their tv staion logo.
They found the return battery on the shelf the next day
