Between those 3, definitely the Panasonic. Highest power outage RMS and highest preamp voltage. With an amp, that 5 volt peamp will be nice.

BTW, there are much cheaper places than crutchfield to buy.

i've tried panasonic lately and the headunit has a lot of power, but the sound quality is not there.. I'd recommend the alpine instead.. sound quality is what you want, alpine is what you should buy..

Thanks for the input guys.
Sciontc_mich you're right.
I heard the same thing about Panosonic and their quality .
I'm leaning towards the Pioneer because of the Organic EL Display.
Alpine's display is too plain.
Pioneer's HU looks pretty sweet and would match nicely with my blue party lights under the dash.

IMO, its a tough choice between the Pioneer and the Alpine. Both are great sound quality units but lately Pioneer has beem coming out on top with their newer models.

So I say get the Pioneer.

Good Decision!

Although Crutchfield may have a higher price than other stores, crutchfield's prices are worth it since they offer everything to help you get through your install

That deck is awesome....I just got the same one installed a few weeks ago. I don't know what the techie term is for this but it has some kind of audio processing deal in there that makes the music sound much clearer and crisper rhan the factory radio. Plus you can control your dvd player or tv tuner from the deck. And the display is sweet too. It's got a bunch of interactive screens that show levels of the music. My favorite one is the battery level meter. It's kind of funny to watch the level go from 13+ down to 12 something everytime the bass hits. It's definitely a good buy.

I spent a little more money and bought the Premier version of this receiver because it comes with 4v preouts, instead of the 2v that comes with the regular Pioneer one. Either way, it's a pretty good head unit. The remote works better than the face though because things like mute, attenuate, etc. are not on the primary display, which is a design flaw, imo. They could have easily used the 1-6 buttons for pause, mute, whatever.
