I've been considering getting a nitrous kit.....I've been looking at the zex kits.....for mods I have an injen cai and a tsudo cat back exhaust......would I have to do any more mods before I put a nitrous kit on? will it hurt my tranny or engine? I have an auto tranny.....and which is more safe....wet or dry kit? Thanks.....

 

With a window switch you should be fine.

 

wet kit i dont run a window switch but not a bad idea if you haven't used nitrous before zex has a tech site that can tell you everything about the engine rpms when to and when not to hit the spray i also run with a auto trans. they also have a drive by wire setup.

 

Whats a window switch? and what shot are you running?

 

a window switch is a controler that will only alow the nitrous to be sprayed at a certen engine rpm like 2500 start and it shuts off at say 5500. with the auto i spary a 75 shot from 1st to 3rd i never lift i just shift the car she is going to get a drag in the shift but it does shift

 

I would go with a wet kit. They are safer to use then dry kits, at least in my head I think they are.

 

dont spray and pray. its bad for your engine.
