One thing I noticed .....
Well glad to see I'm getting ripped on! LOL.
Anyways I'm getting a nice 5 inch FAZE Gaguge Tachometer installed this weekend.
Black Faced Reverse Glo - At night lights up blue.
ONly doing it for soul purposes for car shows to add more umph.
I'll post a pic of it soon

1. Shift lights are worthless... you can feel when it's time to shift. Also, if you can watch the dash for a light, you can watch the tach just as easily.
2. The tC likely doesn't have one because it's a $17,000 car with a whole lot of upscale options. Keeping the price at the right range was probably a whole lot more important to Toyota than providing one more idiot light.

ok people once again, it is not that you need the light to know when to shift, yes i can feel it, yes i can watch the tach, yes i can hear the engine, but i still think it would be cool to set shift points when the light is to come on. i still want one and i will prolly use the one on the g tech pro ss
shifting at various rpms give you different styles of driving. like cruising or racing.
so how would a shift light know which style you want to drive at different times?

How exactly do you feel when to shift? I dont even know how to drive stick(unless it's all redline, floor clutch, shift over and over again). So I could use a shift light(or have a computer do it for me...like I'm already planning to get in my tC)
