Default Ordering Parts from dealer

Hey guys,
I am about to order a tc, but they want me to type up a list of the accessories that I want with it with like a description and maybe a picture. What do I do about the parts that are not on the scion website (ie: lowering springs, the TRD wheels)? Last time I mentioned these parts to them at the dealer they were like "well they arent on the scion website, we dont know what you are talking about" I know the dealers should be well informed but they are really not, they told me I was the first one who had ever wanted to choose their own accessories.

So any advice? Should I just go to the autopoartz website and get my info there, or will this just confuse them? ahhh help

http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com and http://www.partznet.com have lists of parts with part numbers and prices. Print it out and show it to your dealer. Make your dealer give you the prices that these websites have, too, while you are at it. And if your salesguy goes off http://www.scion.com when it comes to parts and accessories - ask for a different salesguy.

As I've told a million other people - I'm a big advocate of installing accessories yourself. All of them (except maybe springs) require no special knowledge and experience. I have install manuals for pretty much all of them.

So if your dealer wants to be a ***** - they are more than welcome to be that way. You can tell them to take a hike and order everything you need off these websites.

Get couple of smart buddies to help you. Or pay through the nose. Up to you.

Things like floor mats, door sills, shift *****, pedals, stickers, strut bars are not rocket science.

XM tuners, mirrors, subs, sway bars - these take reading the manual and $4 worth of tools.

Springs - that's something that I'd either do completely myself or a very reputable shop/dealer.
