So I got hit a while back and I haven't got around to fixing it. It was a hit and run when I was parked so I have no idea who did it.. will my insurance go up if I file a claim? And also, if I only plan on keeping the car for about two more years.. will the cars difference in price if I left the damage be worth fixing it? The damage is in the rear bumper, ill post a pic in a bit.

 

You said a while back, did you get a police report? If you did not then you can't file a claim. A few years ago I was in a hit and run my car was parked on a street at the time and I went right through my insurance. My rates were unchanged and I still get the accident free discount. There was even an article out a few days ago somewhere clearly stating if it was a hit and run your rates won't go up. I'd definitely get it fixed but that's just my opinion. Good luck.
