Yeah, I drove from OK to DC a few yers ago (in a different car obviously). The fastest route is actually to go up through OH and then across and down through PA. The PA roads are really nice. Great drive with lots of cool roads and good scenery.

The roads here in PA absolutley blow. I mean they are BAD. I hope your car isn't lowered drastically or has a kit on it. I cannot emphasize how bad the roads and highways are here. It's embarrasing. I wonder where all of the tax dollars go?

Oh, and keep your vents shut because your tC will smell like cow, chicken, and/or pig crap by the time you get to your destination.

USE YOUR CRUISE CONTROL! And for goodness sake don't set it for 90MPH! If you set it for 70 or 75, and just relax, you will EXCEED your advertised highway milage. I log my milage every time I fill up. I drove from CA to OK along HWY 40. The first time I did OK milage: 27 or 28 MPG (probably had a lot to do with my heavy foot and the AC on since it was summer). On the return trip (in the dead of winter), I set my cruise control and I got as much as 33 MPG cruising at 70 with 600 lbs. of cargo in the back and my girlfriend in the passenger seat!

i have made this drive so many times, im sick and tired of PA. that state is so loooooooong (for the east coast at least). ive also driven to oklahoma and north carolina in the tC and it was great.
my tC has been on I-80 from chicago to nyc and it is fine. if ur car is lowered and it rains be careful. i had 4 other people in the car so it was even lower, but i was going side to side. stock tires are not the best. when driving through indiana u should be fine goin 75-78 in ohio i would suggest 72 until u get to the point where there r 3 lanes then u can up it a little bit more and when u r in PA id go less than 75. THE PA COPS ARE VERY TRICKY!!! they hide up hills, behind the overpasses and in the trees at the NO-Uturn spots. im not telling u to speed, so what u do is ur business, that is just what i do everytime i go to my real home.

as for speeding in other states u can still get points on ur license if that state is one that reports to other states (i believe). i know that PA is not one of those, so if u get caught speeding its just a fine and insurance wont know, so ive been told by my insurance guy.
dont forget u have to have money to pay for the tolls across indiana and ohio which will be about 15 bucks, and u have to get gas at the rest stops if u dont want to get off the interstate.
if anything else, let me know, i have probably done this drive about 50 times.

Indeed, and since my landlords are ***** and won't fix our washing machine, I got a buttload of quarters burning a hole in my pocket just waiting to be used up.

it costed me like $2.25 to travel from cleveland area to the edge of ohio and penn, then $0.50 to pennsylvania. so, finally we hit pennsylvania. I then had to pay $1.50 to drive on a little strech after the stateline. then i got the next toll ticket, then it was like $3 to drive to pittsburg
