Yea, using parts from other car, baking open your headlights, and retrofitting that stuff in.

Best bet is the dealer. A little pricey but shouldnt be more than $5 seeing as it only 1 bolt.

Anyone know the thickness of P-Tuning's cam followers?

http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...C%20(1st%20Gen.)

I've heard both 3.38mm and 3.28mm

why dont you just use the little chat thing on the page to ask them?
that way you get a definite answer straight from the source.

I sent an email to Mike about it on Thursday, tried the chat all day yesterday, and haven't gotten any responses today either.

Right, 2.5 makes sense though; Ptuning only sells cam followers for the tC, so their number should be right. Also, it says max size is 5.20, which is 2.5 (follower) + 2.7 (max shim).

I was thrown off by Supertech. Under inventory, cam followers they have "Toyota 2JZ / 3SGTE/ 1ZZ / Scion / Tacoma 2RZ-3RZ / Nissan RB26" listed as 3.38. I think Ptuning sells Toyota / Nissan / Mazda Duratec.

Anybody have any ideas as to how i could reduce this gap/improve the look of this?
This is a TWM aluminum ****, stock boot, and TRD quickshifter.
(I have searched, found some decent results, but I'm looking for more options.)
Open to any suggestions.

make a custom shift boot or cut the shifter and re-thread the top.

Is it okay to have both the clutch and brake pedal fully depressed while stopping at a steep incline?

I just realized that I have been riding my clutch for the past 35k miles and trying to change my riding habits.

My sunroof makes a whistle-like sound whenever I drive 50mph and over. It's like the sound you get when driving down the highway with a window cracked open. Anyway, I figured it was the seal around it that came loose or something. So I took it to Toyota to see what was wrong and they told me that it was indeed the seal that came unglued/loose. Then they said that in order to fix it, they would have to order new seals and tracks, but that it would cost me $2,200! What I want to know is, has anyone had this happen to them? If so, is there any other way to get it fixed without costing me so much $$?
