I recently just put in my stock injectors, (running NA for a bit until the weather calms down), and i noticed a tiny little hole in the intake manifold underneath the center bolt for the intake manifold. my car (NA) as of now has been idling at 19 vacuum on a cold start and when its warm its at about 19-20. could that tiny of a hole cause that much of vacuum loss??

dumb question for fun...HOW THE HELL DOES THIS HAPPEN?!?!?! LOL

I am looking to run HIDs in my 2007 tC. I know there are plug and play options. But what do i need to do to my head lights to make them project correctly? OR do i just need to buy projection headlights and then get HIDs for them?

Thanks for the help

For them to project "correctly" would take a retrofit and have an auto leveling system. I think a move to the 08-10 headlights is better than the aftermarket projector setups IMO. Still, retrofit>all.

My brother was working on my car while I was in school. Then he went to school; I finished up. I assumed he drained the oil because we were working on the head, and I added 3 quarts and then checked the dipstick to see where the level was at.

Turns out the oil wasn't drained, so I had about 6 Qts of oil in my engine. I drained it out, but will this cause any damage? Balance shafts were removed btw.

Did you start the car or drive it at all before you drained the excess oil?
If not then you will be fine.

doesnt look like VRD will unless you loose the front lip.

theres a slot in the back of the RS3 lip that will still let the VRD/APT fogs fit, the bumper and its slot is basically still back there, but the front lip will cover the majority of the fog light due to the shape and form of it.

the greddy evo2 doesnt sound like and STI but it is deep. STI is a very unique sound due to the engine it has

I'm going to change shocks for a car in general, will I need a spring compressor to put OEM springs back to OEM shocks? Or can I lower the car on the springs and use the cars weight to compress them and just screw the bolt on top of the suspension?

Is the third brake light on eBay reliable? I need some feedback before I make my purchase. Thank you.

Stinkysab - Dunno about the third brake light on eBay but the ones on Oznium.com are pretty good.

I live in California. I'm getting an Injen Cold Air Intake for my 2010, although its CARB illegal, I couldn't pass it up for a mere $100 used. Should I also purchase the used Weapon R Headers, also CARB illegal, for $250 used? Would the fine, if I'm caught, be more than just with a CAI because I took out the first catalytic converter? What are the odds of my tC being impounded for a first offense for these two mods?

Stupid quick personal questions. Thanks for the input, although I'm sure I know the answer.
