Toe alignment angles will not cause a pull, only caster and camber. If you have a pull... your probably best off just dropping the 60$ or so to get an alignment done... Toe will, however, wear your tires out, so be careful when playing with this as you can really mess your tires up. You can straighten your steering wheel by adjusting the toe, but you can't fix your pull.

My turn for a question.

Used to have a black 2007 tC. Long story short I went and bought an evo, had them both for a year, and then traded them both in for a mazdaspeed 3. I find I really miss my tC and I want to get one again.

My question is...

I am looking for a comparison of all the first gen tc's. What the factory changed, etc. I know the 04-06 are pretty much the same from what I remember. I know in 2007 they changed the throttle body, the tune, and the exhaust (from what I remember). Anyways, does anyone have a comprehensive list of what was changed over the years of the tC? I don't care about the new body styles as I am interested in an old one for now (although the 6 speed transmission is drawing me to it... Drool).

Thanks in advance for the input.

Oh and by the way, I used to be a member on here (07_tc_bsp) but lost my e-mail info, password, etc. Also, I did use the search button, for all the bashers out there .

believe the 05-07 were all the same, when 08 came the headlights and taillights were dif and the maf sensor is different. i think there might be one other change but can't think of it off the tope of my head. and if you want the 6 speed i thinki read somewhere on here where descendant (i prob butched that) has a kit for the 1st gen to make it a 6 speed

what type of lugs are you looking for? a dif set of oem? or are you looking for like the open ended, or closed end longer tuner lugs?

If you plan on changing lugs you need to use the same style as OEM with OEM wheels.

HID fogs are garbage and will do nothing but blind oncoming traffic.

The lug nuts for the 18" Release Series 5.0 wheels are conical seat. That gives plenty of options.

I was lookin @ this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KICS-...#ht_3896wt_941 and would like to know if I m able to run this instead of the ichiba wheel spacer? I do not want to use the type of spacer where u need to remove the caliper. Will 8mm b noticeable on a 18x9.5 et 35?

8mm would b noticeable but obviously more to you since It's ur car and you kno the bfo and after with spacers, you could run these but who knows if your going to have enough threads on your wheel studs. I have some 8mm and I had to upgrade studs regardless because of my wheel it's thicker in the center bore area. There's alot of peps that have been running different size spacers on there stock studs so I guess it just depends on the wheel and if u have enough turns on the thread stud

So my passenger rear Wheel bearing went out, so Im going to take it to the stealership when I get back in town to get it covered under warranty but do you guys think they will give me a hassle on covering it because I'm lowered and wut not? Everytime I needed something covered under warranty I always threw my stock suspension back on Because any little reason they can find Is an excuse They will use so that way they won't cover it, and if that happens u just blew like $100 for them to take a look at it then them saying warranty won't cover it cause of this and that blah blah.... anyways i just want to take it like how it is cause I'm feeling lazy on having to swap suspension back and forth

Does anyone know what size tubing our stock midpipes have? I'm planning a header/spipe install and i want a couple resonators to weld into the stock midpipe. Problem is that i don't know the pipe diameter to order the resonators. Help?

they may try to do that but they also have to PROVE that it was the issue. and they can't say its due to suspension considering scion offered/offers aftermarket suspension like the TRD springs/struts and TRD coilovers

Hey guys. Couple days ago started feeling noticeable vibration when car comes to the complete stop(red light for instance). Looks like the whole car is shaking but it goes away as soon as I accelerate. Any ideas?

Sounds like wheel bearings. If vibration makes different noises when turning the steering wheel: you're better off going to suspension specialist (which most "mom & pop" tire shops has one)than you're dealer.

How serious is driving on CEL P0505? LOL Been driving on it for almost two months! I have more important stuff to deal with: process of buying a house.

doing some reading on a few other threads and sites; it appears a p0505 for tc's is emissions leak...aka loose gas cap at some point. pull the neg bat hook up for about 5 min and put back on... that should reset it. if not hit an auto parts store and they will check and clear it for you for free

I measured it years ago but didn't write it down, if I recall it's less than 2 1/4" inner diameter, might be a bit smaller about 2 1/8" maybe when I measured it in comparison to my Agency Power exhaust. But why keep/add resonators the stock midpipe if doing header and s-pipe upgrade? A Tsudo midpipe can be had for like $115 with 2.5" diameter improving flow and add resonators to that.

Just curious. Considering all the options, if you will. I'm still in college so this is more of a budget kind of project. You bring up a good point though.
