i've been running the weapon-r headers w/ weapon-r anti fouler for well over a year now and never once had a CEL so if you go that route you shouldnt have any pop up
so got the CEL ran today i got P0420 code ( have an full exhaust, CAI)
1. air leak in exhaust before rear HO2 sensor
2. AF sensor error
3. Fuel system fault
4. Faulty catalytic converter

yea #4 is because you have full exhaust unless you had some hi flow one put on; just get the weapon r cel anti fouler and it'll go away
hey guys i have 2010 tc, so i think one of my ballast died on my hid kit because the bulb went out, so i tested the bulb on the passenger side ballast that was working and it lit up fine so the bulb was good. I unplugged the ballast and everything that wasn't working and tried plugging in the original bulb that came with tha car untill i could get a new ballast and it wouldnt lite up. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? blown fuse maybe?

does anyone know the name of this piece and where i can get a replacement one?
It's the black plastic piece that runs along the bottom of the side skirts. it's about 3 inches wide and it goes the length of the car from the front wheels to the back and basically sits up against the frame. it's held onto the frame by a bunch of rubber plugs or whatever. it's basically that piece you would attach puddle lights to if you installed those.
when i first lowered my car, i managed to hit a weird bump in the road and it ripped/warped that piece on my left side about halfway down and it just sorta hangs there and looks hella ugly!

i dont think hes talking about a fender liner.
look under your car where the stock jack point is. you will see a pinch weld that runs along the entire underside of the car, there is also a black piece of plastic that runs along the pinch weld, if i remember correctly.
im assuming thats what hes talking about.
but i have no idea where you could get it, that would be a dealer only part if i had to guess.

yeah i'm definitely not talking about the fender liner. i've asked several dealers around me but they're all pretty much useless. they were all telling me i had to buy the side skirts, but i know for a fact that they don't include the piece i need. I couldn't find the part on trdsparks last time i looked either! I was considering just pulling that piece... but the metal piece it covers has holes and i'm afraid things'll rust... do you guys think it'd be a good idea just to pull it?
so i hit a speed bump at a wrong angle. and the tow hook thing under the bumper scraped pretty hard. when it dide that, it clipped the fog light harnes, so obviously it got cut up. so i figured i could just splice into them, wire them together, and heat shrink tube them to insulate them.
after i did that, the fogs still dont work. you think i need a whole new harness? or should i just get new bulbs?

how well did you fix the harness, solder? or just twist and tape?
before you buy anything, check the bulbs to see if theyre good, check the fuse associated with the fogs, if both those look good get a voltage meter and poke around.
id doubt youll need to buy a new harness.

i had a somewhat similar situation with my fogs as well... what ended up happening was I had done the ghetto version of hooking up my fogs so that i could use them as day running lights (the method where you pull the one pin and plug it into the acc fuse and attach a switch). Well, while I was doing some other mod, I must have bumped it and pulled the pin out. If you used that method, you might want to check that connection cause I had pulled off my bumper, when through "all" the connections several times before I realized it.
And... still, if anyone knows the name of that black liner piece that runs along the bottom sides of the car's frame... let me know!

yea i figured he wasn't talkin about the fender liner, but didnt know if was made of same material as that (had to look under my car as i thought it was all metal under the car for the most part lol
