i currently have the mod express XTC kit that is their upgraded kit with black slim ballast and one of the bulbs went out after only 9 months or so. and what i mean by flicker is the fact that the light moves up and down allot in a shacking manner and its more noticeable when im close to the car in front of me.

DJ and dzone has one of your bulbs ever gone out?

So far none have gone out yet, running with 6000K on low beams. Haven't noticed any flicker either.

I just checked back on their site[HIDExtra] and noticed they only offer the matte black for the slim digital kit. It's been a moment since I've checked on the review for those but that kit has had it's issues when it first released, don't know how they are know.

No my bulbs have never gone out. 3bspec kits are kinda expensive compared to other companies. I got mine on a Christmas special 3 years ago for like $90. I have heard good things from meng motorsports kit, they usually have sales going on.

Just search Google or Ebay for blue 7440 bulbs.

45 seconds of effort: http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm

The regular filament bulbs are at the bottom.

Alvarado, I'm running the front mount of the Speed-Source set(front is a replacement mount, the rear is the polyurethane bushing you need to swap/press in). Now I did notice more in-cabin vibrations when at a stop, once the car is in motion it goes away. I was on TRD springs, but once I got adjustable coilovers that kind of lessened the effect(currently on 8K rate springs all around), so that seemed to have tightened things up.

So just the front mount? Is it the Mount replacement or is it the insert? Do you think this Mod is worth the Cash? What do you like or Dislike about it? What does it improve? Wheel Hop and Handling?

The front is a complete replacement mount with the polyurethane bushing, just take out the OEM mount and bolt in the new, one of the easiest installs. It def reduces wheel hop to get the power to the ground, so you just have to control the throttle to limit the wheel spin. There are a few front mount replacements offered by a few companies, Ptuning had(maybe still does) a sale going on, and with their mount you can swap out for a stiffer bushing. I haven't seen a company release a replacement rear mount, all are currently a bushing you have to press into your OEM mount. What I like, wheel hop is reduced/to none, dislike:nothing really, maybe just the in-cabin vibration when stopped but I'm used to it, it's like a free massage lol.

What do you think about just replacing the fount mount and leaving the rear OEM?

I just did a quick search on them and it seems like all aftermarket headlights are trash.. are the 08's halos or just projectors or both? What would be the best option in order to get halos..always within a reasonable price that is..

The halos will eventually die, so why even waste your money? You could give these a shot, but you have to know what you're doing since it involves baking open your headlights.

For 05-07
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCION-TC-05-...item255d92c4f0

http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-07-Scion-...item3368ecd53b

For 08+
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scion-tc-200...item35b45e62fa

I don't think there are any threads on the reliability of these, so I don't know if the heat from the headlights will eventually wear these out or not.

So your saying that getting halos is a waste of money. Ok so in you opinion what the best thing to do to headlights that will make them look really good. I have my 05 stocks and they are pretty boring so i need something that will look great and last.
