I have a question. I just bought some replica 08-10 taillights from eagle eyes and i was wondering if they will work fine with the harness that comes on my 05 tc tails or do i need to purchase the 08-10 harness?

They'll work fine. Only difference between the 05-07 and 08-10 harness is the plug for the reverse bulb is a bit longer for 05-07 putting the bulb a bit further into the housing.

Nope. It's only the reverse bulb, you don't drive in reverse all the time do you? lol

If they arent OEM replacement like the DEPO then the other headlights yea have had their issues, def the ones with the halos/angel eyes and extra little lights as those have failed over time, then you'll look ridiculous with one halo lit up and the little light burnt out. Then you'll spend more money getting another set. If you plan on running HIDs the best setup is a projector retrofit from a car that runs HIDs from factory. I think a common one seems to be the S2000 or TSX with the 08-10 headlights, but there's other retrofits that can be done with any headlight, it's all up to you, and it'll look good and be functional.

oh ok so DEPO will be a better way to go then to spend 300+ on OEM? i just want the 05-07 heads because i actually like them lol its just mine are hazed..i think my tails will be fine i will just put sealant around the housing, but as for the heads, is DEPO the best alternative to OEM but still good quality?

There's a thread talking about them, check it out. You say you're OEM are hazed, have you tried a headlight restoration kit, try that before buying another set of lights, that'll def save you the money.

It will only pass if you have a CARB approved intake. I believe K&N and Injen are the only 2 that are. So if you don't have those, you'll fail.

I actually just now installed my 08-10 replicas from eagle eyes on my 05..the 05 harness worked great just not the reverse light..it didnt set in right and it dangled, so i went and bought some crazy glue and glued the plastic part of the reverse light in the housing. Also the clips that are on the bottom of the tail lights didnt cooperate when i was trying to get them in..it was either cut them off or have my rear bumper dangle out of place. So i cut them and they fit as well as the stock ones. It was a struggle to get them in with clips but after i took them off, they set in pretty good!

I currently have raceland coilovers, I am plannind on running a 205/40/17 on and 8 inch wheel et-5 after adapters.

I dont want to buckle my fender while turning or going over a speed bump, so what should be my first priority when it comes to fitment? Would it be camber, flairing the fenders, stiffer coilovers, something else?

thanks guys!

Nobody can answer that because it depends on your ride height.

Put the wheels on, put the suspension where you want it, lower the car slowly, and see what needs to be done.

So after various attempts of trying to force fit the vrd/atp fogs in with the gfx kit I've had no luck so next option is trimming the lip. anyone know the easiest way to do this?

You can try that, I always just put the coilovers as low as they can go and drop the car. haha

Any bolt on mods are pretty much useless for HP gains, especially when you compare the money spent to the HP gained. Youll be lucky to gain 10-20HP from a I/H/E.

Try the dealer. Idk if that radio is exclusive to RS6's, but if its just an aftermarket headunit that Scion puts in but anyone can buy online than you should be able to find the trim piece for it. Did you look on Crutchfield yet?

I would recommend a dremel with a small cutting wheel on it.
