hey guys, i have 2010 tc i recently replaced one of my HID ballast and bulb because the ballast died, when i noticed the new new one i put in was brighter and more blue than the older one on the passenger side (they were both 8000k to begin with) so i replaced the passenger side one too, but the passenger side light is still looking more white like it would be a 6000k bulb than an 8k when the driver side one looks normal. Any ideas on what i could check to be wrong with it?? thanks.
I thought it might be that but i checked the package that the kit came in and it said 8k on , and i plugged in the old 8k bulb and ballast and it was coming out the same color. it almost seems like the bulb is not getting as much power to it as the drivers side one. not sure if that is possible tho..?

Did you try swapping the bulbs to alternate sides?
Is there any physical marking on the bulb itself or just the package?
Im not the most knowledgable when it comes to HIDs, maybe a ballast issue?
Or if theres no marking on the actual bulb, it could still be the wrong temp, regardless of what the package says.

I know, im saying dont always believe what the packaging says.
At some point someone had to put those 2 bulbs into the package, its possible that someone made a mistake and put 2 diff ones in there.
Which is why I asked if theres any marking on the BULB itself, not the package.

Looks like the Red Wire plugs into your switch from the picture
I would say the Yellow would be the Power
And Black Ground... I know you can bolt the ground right where you put all the switches thats what i did for mine.

whats the point?
people stretch tires to fit wider wheels and get better fitment.
you have to run a massssive spacer to even get those close to the fender.

Hey guys, first post on SL. I just got my tC about two weeks ago and have dropped a respectable amount of mods in it in the time given. When i wired my HID kit, i disconnected the battery. I was unaware that this resets all presets (time,Welcome message,EQ settings in head unit, ect.) After i reset all of my settings, i noticed my Bass was at 5 (max) and it was not "bumpin" like it was before. It sounds as if the settings are at 0. Any ideas, i'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread but i figured someone may be able to help. Thanks!
Hey guys just wondering can anyone tell me if the RS1 rear lip when installed will cover the holes on the stock rear bumper that once had the Oem rear lip previously installed onto it? I know that the holes on the front lip will show but just wondering about the rear lip holes showing if I installed the RS1 rear lip instead. well let me know if you guys have any experience with the switch thanks...
