sw 5-speed first time manual driver
well the title said it
I've picked up my sw today
I stalled it like 6 times total of 60miles haha
I don't stall it anymore
well
My question is, on the 1, and 2nd the gear moves around when they are in placed. Is it normal?(my first manual car no idea how manual is like) My friends told me it is natural for some cars but still bugs me alot,
I drove my friends eclipse they didn't move at all when a gear is placed.
well Im getting used to hill and 1st gear
I wish i catch up quick so i can drive fast without just making broom broom sound and car is not moving haha
thanx in advance for the replies

First 5-speed here, too. After a week of driving, I'm much better, but still far from perfect. Guess it's all about practice. Need to work on smoothness, hills starts, and practice driving in my doc martens - I found it much more difficult than driving in my work dress shoes for some reason :?

I've been driving manuals for close to 15 years and I still stalled my tC twice. Any time you drive a different car the clutch, gas and shifter all take getting used to.
Haha. Dont worry about it guys. Give it a month of driving and you'll all be pros..or at least not dangerous anymore haha.
BTW I'm selling my 05 Camo xB 5-spd w/ 3000 miles on it! Thought I'd plug that in. Email me at johnfdahl@yahoo.com if youre interested!
