I am pushing 3,000 miles on my manual tC and and don't have the numbers in front of me, but am getting between 26 and 29 mpg, depending on city/highway and my leaded/unleaded foot. I'll post the real numbers soon.

 

i have an automatic. i kept track today when i went out cuz i just filled up yesterday. today, with city and highway driving... i got at least a good 30 mpg, which is really impressing me. i drive fairly quick, but i usually don't hit over 3000 rpm, even when i am doing 80 mph on highway.

 

I drive about 100 mi a day, almost all hwy. My mpg's so far have been 28, 27, 28. (5spd)

 

I just finished my first tank of gas and I got about 21 mpg. I only live about 3 miles to work, so that's very little highway driving too.

 

My tank was down to 1/4 tank so I went for a first fill up. Pumped in 9.8 gallons and put on about 267 miles (Mixed City/Rush Hour and Freeway). That put me at 27mpg.

I have been shifting my manual around ~3K rpm (with some break in up to 4k but rare), all with the A/C on 100% of the time.

 

I just got my tC on Friday with a full tank. I drove it to Florida on Saturday. I put gas in it for the first time today with about 1/8 of a tank left in it. When I checked to odometer before leaving the gas station, it was exactly 300 miles. So whatever that works out to. I drove another 200+ miles back here to New Orleans and still have more than half a tank left. I'm pleased with it.
