It's been said already, but wanted to add my two cents on this. The WRX is a much better performer on paper, but it's ugly and a Subaru. The tC looks great, is utterly unique at this time, and is a Toyota. If you look only at pure performance, the answer is clear...but few people do. Most people want a mixture of performance, styling, reliability, safety, and price. The tC can't touch the WRX in the first of those five, but the tC kills the WRX in the other four -- and still performs pretty darn well in its own right. That was my answer right there.
