Default Transmission slippage

Has anyone experienced this with their Tc? Our is an automatic and every once and a while I notice that between 50-60 mph- that there is a slight slippage. Also, they just installed these PITA speed humps in our subdivsion and even when I go over them very slowly and then give it a little gas I have noticed that it will slip into gear. Not all the time and it's very slight, but still I can feel it. Should I worry? should I take it into the dealership? we have 8700 miles on it. I surely don't want to be paying out the arese every month for a car that will have t/m problems.

Mine does it going from 1st to 2nd sometimes. Usually after I've been driving for a while.

that\'s why I don\'t buy auto trannies... lots can go wrong.

however, I wish I had one when I\'m bumper to bumper traffic on the 405. My left leg goes numb from clutching every 10 seconds.

That\'s pretty much it. Autos have far more moving parts that can go wrong. They\'re also about twice as heavy as a manual tranny.

dont know if this is relative to the subject, but i bought a 94 auto accord LX and the tranny was rough, noisy, and slipped occasionally, changed the tranny fluid, and it felt like i had put in a brand new tranny, it was like night and day!!! so i recommend a tranny fluid change, it might help a lot!

i sometimes feel this as well. I have an 05 and I have changed the fluid twice. Once at 30k and another at 45k. I'm currently @ 50k. Just drain/fill, I think it might be alright as some transmission are sometimes rough but they'll last. I know earlier hondas were rough shifting and felt bad, but lasted quite some time as in 120k +

Try it in downtown BOSTON at any time of the day.. haha. I used to live up there and driving was a nightmare. 93 would be backed up for miles, rt 3 would take about an hour to go 4 miles... Traffic is fun. ANd the best part is that people from Mass are nicknamed "m_______s" because they all drive like idiots.

LOL!!!

1. Relase clutch
2. Give it a little gas
3. Move about 2 feet
4. Step on the clutch
5. Step on the brake

Repeat the steps over and over for the next 10 miles. LOL!!!
