yeah i agree, should be red not orange..

and they really do look like a cross between a bonneville and a camry.. red would make the turn signals look better good idea!

thanks for the pics! also, did you have to mod the bulbs yourself to fit or did he pre-mod them for you? i know in the past he was pre-modding them but on ebay it doesn't say that he is anymore...

there is a little part you need to trim off the bulb to make it fit in your 9005 or 9006 housing by using a dremel. you can see an example here: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3122

i guess he puts a little white pain on the part that you need to have trimmed off...

 

Just like it says in the above note, the tab is marked in white and I used a pire of wire cutters to cut the plastic tab which took 15 seconds and then it was good to go.

 

so you aren't really trimming the bulbs, but the housings, correct? just from hearng people talk, I thought they were talking about the bulbs themselves, and I was thinking, how the f are they doing that????

 

there is a large round base near the bottom of the bulb called a "key" it has tabs that are made to fit into specific housings, i.e. only an H4 bulb will fit into an H4 housing. what they are trimming is the tabs on the key in order to retrofit them into the housing. or you can clip off the tab that is the wrong size and you are left with two tabs on the key (on an H4 that is). this is what i do with my motorcycle, an H4 will fit in my housings as long as i cut one of the tabs off the key. the remaining two tabs are in the right spot and it fits right into the housing at that point

 

I compared my HIR headlights to another tc with regular headlights and the difference is night and day...couldn't believe it!
