I don't like the design of the taillights.

 

Lack of a good rear spoiler, removable armrest for easy access, weird noises that I can never pin down...

 

Ditto on the spoiler thing. I want to do something to improve the back end, but there's no happy medium!

 

i have mix feelings about the design and look of the tC sometimes. i like it a lot somtimes, other time i don't. i think my ped spoiler makes the whole difference. kinda like giving the rear end a face lift.

the ride is just too high, but i doubt i'll drop it b/c i'm not planning to keep the tC for too many years.

 

people say "just put sound tape to make the rattles go away" or "repaint the whole car if the paint is cheap" or "change the springs for better handling". that doesn't work for me. when i buy a new car i don't want to redo whatever things that scion messed up on. i don't want to put sound deadening stuff in my car, and i don't want to repaint the car just to have a quality paint job. these things should already be taken care of when leaving the factory.

i'm not saying the car should be perfect. i'm saying i shouldn't have to do anything extra to my new car just to make it up to standards.

 

I'll tell you all what I dislike is that I don't have a hot blonde on my hood. I guess I have to settle for my burnette gf.

I can understand complaining if you have one that actually has issues. But what I dont understand is complaining about the way it looks, the way the interior is set up etc. You looked at and test drove the car right? Then you should have noticed then. I realize that some are just voicing things they wish they could have better, which is fine. But some talk about how it doesnt look good, needs to be lower and other large stuff that should have been thought of before buying the car.

The only thing I wish it had was a telescoping steering wheel, since it is hard to get that perfect balance between being to far away from the wheel or too close to the pedals. But that isnt really something I dislike about the car, just something that would have been nice.

Personally I think the pedistal spoiler is perfect. It's not too low like the lip where it's almost pointless. But its not ridiculously high like wrx's. And its not plain looking like neons.

I am kinda ripe about the cheapo paint and how easily the body dents and scratches. Stupidass people whipping their doors open in parking lots. I got like a million scratches all over my tC and a dent in my door from them.

yeah I wouldn't want a dent either. And just kidding bout my gf. She is cute and an awsome person.

 

totally agree about the telescopic steering wheel. makes a world of difference. in order for a car to be perfect, it needs a perfect driving position to start with. unfortunately the wheel is too far away, i must reach for the wheel and it isn't the most comfortable driving position that i expierence without telescopic wheel.

 

should have an optional black chrome exhaust tip

 

wish the rear sunroof could open, rwd, rear windshirld wiper, power seats

MY TC IS A POOP MAGNET! Every time I wash the darn thing, a seagull drops a bomb. I'm getting really tired of washing my car almost everyother day! Anyone else have this problem? Maybe it's the FM color....

 

yeah, some dumbass at jiffy lube said that to me too. "An '06 and the break lights are out already?" all sarcastic. I just shrugged him off. I'll never go back there again!

Isn't it great to live amongst seagulls? I feel your pain, bud. When I had a black car, it'd get bombed with white sh.... Now I have a white car, and it gets bombed by purple sh... Can't win.

 

I thought maybe birds don't like FM too, because I totally have that problem! really though, it's probably more the fact that clean cars always get pooped on more...

 

Transmission. I don't really like the clutch engagement and it desperately needs a 6th gear!

 

I'd have to say that the engine noise bugs me. There's no need to put an artificial sound to an engine (what Toyota did) to give the engine a little trill sound. It's just annoying (go buy a stupid muffler for that)!!! Also, I don't like the rough idle in the morning (yeah, I live in California and the dealer says it normal). The seats also get stained if water gets on them, my rear side airbag carpet frame structures seem to be morphing out of shape, the metallic plastic trim from the dash to the cubby hole can too easily be scratched, right passanger's seat should have a MEMORY SEAT FEATURE, different BRAKE SYSTEM for braking is incredibly horrible (brakes stop at long distance)hatch and sunroof make quite a bit of noise when litely going over speed bumps,external ANTENNA is ugly and also gets bad reception (why not just build it into the rear window like most Toyotas and Hondas), brighter trunk light would help. KEEP IN MIND THAT I'M NOT ONE OF THOSE KIDS THAT MODIFIES THEIR CAR. MY CAR IS STOCK!!!! I OVE MY CAR BUT I WISH THESE IMPROVEMENTS WOULD BE MADE!!!
