Default Acceleration Steering Problems

I've been wanting to ugrade the suspension on my 05 Tc. Mainly because off the line/stop sign/light, it seems the car pulls one way or another instead of launching straight ahead. Bump steering is an issue to. Hopefully I've explained it well enough to get some descent input. I can definitely give more info if that would be beneficial. Also been hearing a lot about sway bars. Rear or Front? Or Both? Best product for the money. I've looked at the parts place on this site, but hopefully someone can give me some advice on they're ugrades. Thanks in advance.

The wheel pulling during acceleration is called torque steer. It's a FWD problem. Only way you're going to help it is to get an LSD (I think it helps anyway, don't have it myself).

If you want a better handling car... a rear sway bar is a great first step. A front and rear set might be a bit overkill unless you plan on racing in some way (autocross, track days, etc). Even then, it might still be overkill.

What's an LSD and does anyone know anything else that would solve the torque steer problem?

There's not much you can do about torque steer other than getting an LSD which would distribute torque to wheels that need it more. LSD would be an expensive upgrade though. Just try and get better tires, and better suspension if you're dragging. It's almost a must if you're boosting though, so take that into consideration.

Even with a LSD, you will still have some toque steer. It happens because of the tortional loads on the axles. One axle is longer than the other which transfers unequal torque to the wheels when launching under power.
