I got the Tein H techs installed on my Tc which have 18's on them, but ive notice that it smells like my tires have been rubbing.. anyone else rub with tein H techs? is there anything i can do to avoid the rubbing?

 

Cut your fender liners where you rub...

 

i c...damn im not that very handy with cars.. anyone have a pic of their fenders liners cut? so i can get a idead thanx +)

 

just take a box cutter, or your favorite knife and cut the plastic above the wheel wherever it is rubbing. Or just let it go.

But you should not be rubbing at all. What size tires are you running

 

are the tires new? because they will have a pretty strong smell when you first get them and drive on them. You really shouldn't be rubbing on h techs unless you have a low offset and wide tires.

 

burning plastic smells different than burning rubber...check the liners for rub marks, before you go war on them.

 

i had a 225 on 18x8.5 rim. 38 offset on h-techs. Rubbed in front, not out back

still trying to find out the problem, but im guessing its gonna be the fenders
