New Wheel Fitment Thread
I've read through this thread and many others and I know I should just trust the chart on the first page and I've seen people like tCs_are_life717 on 18X9.5 et35 with TRD drop (Springs/Shocks/Struts) running this size wheel so yes, I've searched. Seems like everyone with a 18X9.5 et35 wheel is running a 225/40/18 which is pretty stretched IMO and not really to my liking unless absolutely necessary.
The TRD drop is pretty mild but fairly stiff. Can someone help me determine what size (width) tire I can put on this size wheel and not risk mangling the fenders. I have no problem with rolling fenders I just have no desire to pull. I think I may have seen someone running a 265 or 275 but I'm not sure, so many posts to look at.
Sorry if this is a noob question. Just looking for some reassurance here before spending the money.

needed a ? asked.. did a quick search and couldnt find anything.. it might have been covered on this thread but didnt feel like going through 20 pages.. im looking at getting Dr-31 17x9 with et17.. im currently running on megan racing springs but is going to racelands in 2 weeks... what tire size should i run on these wheels and what kind of modifications will have to be done? thanks in advance
The guy with the blue tC on the aggressive fitment threw is running 215/40s and I have the same seTup with 215/40 s but am having issues with lug nuts and the drags but tryin a diff set today so if they work I'll be able to give u a direct answer..and I'm on racelands as well
Ya when I put the wheel on it's as thou my studs aren't long enough but after talkin to a guy with the same wheels he thinks it maybe my lugs are too big..so I'm goin to try doff one and see what's up
Yeah they suck!! Muteki extended lugs and gorilla spline lug nuts do not fit, however McGard Spline Drive lugs work. Its hard to buy a set of lugs without trying them out first!
I am thinking of getting a set of these. I emailed the dude and he said they would fit!

"Only fits with 5x114.3mm holes on Drag Wheels 5x100/114.3mm dual drilled wheels."
and the heads on these and the ones you posted look the same!

Now I'm thinking about the XXR 527's either 18X8.75 et 35 with 225/40/18 or 18X9.75 et35 with 235/35/18. These setups should be nearly no stretch but will either of these give me problems on a TRD Spring/Shock/Strut drop?
I'm buying some Miro STP1 in 18x10 et 25 for all 4 corners. Will I be okay with just getting the fenders rolled, or will I need to get them pulled as well? I am dropped on KSport coilovers. Also what is the best tire size to run on them to reduce the amount of rubbing? I was thinking 225/35/18.
so i bought a set of Work Equips, and the sizing seems weird to me.... they are 18x8.5 + 32 for the front and 18x10 +38 for the rear, and they are 5x114.3 does that sound right?
i'll be running a 20mm spacer all around do you guys think i'll rub?
the car is lowered on form and function coil overs with about 1.5-2 inches of ground clearance with oem front lip.... am i too low for the wheels? am i going to have to stretch tires? i heard that was unsafe what about omgz cambers should i buy those? and what if i need moar low? can i do that

5x114.3 will not fit on a tc what so ever we use 5x100 but I was wondering on a 17x9 +35 front and +25 rears what tire size do I need. The chart says 225 ? 17 can someone answer the? Part thanks
The lip of thd rim will stick out pretty crazy, I think a 225/40 would be better... Most people run a 225 series on a 10"... Youre only .25 inches away from a 10" wheel width.
