iam planing on getting some 17x9 wheels, i have hotchkiss lowering springs, my question is do i have to get different offset for the front and rear so they will look the same? i am looking for something a little wider than what i have rigth now (7.5) i want it to look flush. thanks
235/40 R17 tires on 17x9 +28, can't picture it in my head. I'm assuming it's going to be a tiny stretch since I read someone put 245's on 8's. My other option is 215/40 R17, but I'm maxed out on Tein SSP's so I won't be able to pull off the flush look. Suggestions on either 235 or 215?
i dont understand how people can be rubbing on these tire sizes your putting up...im at 18x10+13 all around with 225/40 and im barely rubbing, only on big dips
people with 18x8 should nottt be rubbing at all thats all im saying...

Sorry didn't mean to sound like an idiot there should have thought it through for a second, only reason I'm putting them on is becuase I need tires bad all mine are bald and im on the donut, I have these laying around and I'm short on the cash end so having these put on for temp use I think they will look alright, cars real low as it is
Hey guys, im about to pick up some wheels that are 17x9 et20. i figured id be nice and flush in the back, but how about the fronts? is 20 too much? ill hopefully be on stance coilovers soon.
I've read through this thread and many others and I know I should just trust the chart on the first page and I've seen people like tCs_are_life717 on 18X9.5 et35 with TRD drop (Springs/Shocks/Struts) running this size wheel so yes, I've searched. Seems like everyone with a 18X9.5 et35 wheel is running a 225/40/18 which is pretty stretched IMO and not really to my liking unless absolutely necessary.
The TRD drop is pretty mild but fairly stiff. Can someone help me determine what size (width) tire I can put on this size wheel and not risk mangling the fenders. I have no problem with rolling fenders I just have no desire to pull. I think I may have seen someone running a 265 or 275 but I'm not sure, so many posts to look at.
Sorry if this is a noob question. Just looking for some reassurance here before spending the money.
