Seems one of my caps has disappeared...just found out today, is it fine to drive without it on?

Where can I buy a replacement?

The caps prevent road debris like little rocks, sand and dust from getting into the valve---thus prevent air leaks. So yeah, better to have them all on.

Yanki's right. You can either buy them from your local autoparts shops, or free from tire repair shops (techs and customers always forget to put these caps back on).

well.. you can kinda use a cap to actually flatten a tire..

 

I had my tire changed and found out they took my nice looking valve cap and replaced it with a ugly black one i am going to go get it back one way or another my car looks tacky with one black valve cap not cool

 

Cool story bro. I got dice valve stem caps.

 

Yeah I went back and they still had it. And took back that ugly black one. All is good and tires are happy now lol

 

I work at Costco tire shop and people hate the green ones haha.

 

HAHA yeah what is up with the green ones? Itll be cool if thhe car was green to match but really green???
