i think my shipping was around $12, but I live in CA
...I had an option for free shipping, but I would have to pick it up. Didn't feel like driving down there (Huntington or San Diego)

Will be installing it very soon, but I wasn't very satisfied as I got an incomplete relay harness, with a missing female connector. Bought myself very cheap halogen bulbs, broke them and used the socket to replace missing connector. Going to weld it all tonight.
lol yeah. But it will all be fine. I still saved money from ridiculous shipping prices. total was 60$ + 15 for two H11 halogen (used the socket connectors).
The only downside is that I spent an extra 15$ for the harness which I am not going to use. I'll know for next time.

Hey Guys, heres my pictures of my placement and kit, i got the DDM Tuning 35W 6000k. They give no trouble so far, and i've only gotten complements from people who see me pull up so far, no complaints or flashes from other drivers. so i'm not going to cover my squierrel spotters.

The ballasts havent moved since i put them there, i've had em in for about 2 or 3 weeks now. They are inside of the brackets and then my dad and i slid them into the gap there, and then we wedged them down. They CAN come out, just gotta work em backwards. I wasnt sure if the spot is waterproof or not, but ive driven in some intense rain and no problems so far.
If anyones done this, and it actually does lead to problems, let me know please xD i dont want to have mine go bad because of fail placement
I eventually plan to move the ballast to the bumper though, and to tuck the wires more nicely.. but that wont be for a LONG time

Fantastic placement idea! Would I need those mounting brackets to achieve the same fit in that spot?
Also, you shouldn't need to worry about water. The kit is sealed very nicely at the connections.

I think it might fit without the bracket, but if you look at the close up of the passenger placement, theres a piece of the frame that comes up that the bracket kind of locks against. It helps keep it still, so i would definately reccomend the bracket... They are pretty cheap so i'd definately go for it. Plus it sorta makes the fitment tighter and feel more secure
Careful though, i scratched the bit of frame alittle while wedging it in, its little scratches that i dont care about anymore cause you can barely see them, but a scratch is a scratch, ya know? lol
And i have to credit my dad with the spot, i thought of it, but he had the ***** to wedge it in because i was afraid of breaking something!

Wow, they must be sold out. I know a couple months ago they had a kit with slim ballasts, and a kit with full-sized ballasts. The slim kit was the first to sell out and disappear from their site. That's when I ordered the full-sized kit (Raptor kit). Now I see nothing there.
Sorry if I am thread jacking. But does it seem like your 2011 tC takes white HID light and gives it a slight blue tint?
The following picture is supposedly 5000k, and was purchased from a reputable company recommended by many on these forums
Both the so called 6000k bulbs, and 5000k bulbs looked like this.

Check out posts 8 and 16 on the first page of this thread. My 6000k reproduces pretty white. They are 55w though. 55w HIDs are brighter and whiter than their 35w counterparts at any color temp.
my 6000k from hidextra were pretty blue so i also ordered some 5000k bulbs to switch them out. definitely alot whiter but mine still have a slight blueish tint to them. not too noticeable though, i think i'm just being too picky lol. tons of compliments on them.
