Default 2011 TC New owner

I just bought a TC 6 speed manual and feel the car jerking when I accelerate to 2.5k+ rpms and let the gas go while in gear. Is this normal? I was driving a WRX before and never felt this before...
the car has 50k and is still under manufacturer warranty, but the toyota dealer said everything is OK.

any help is greatly appreciated

If it's in first or second, yeah, of course its going to jerk because it's slowing down so quickly because the gears are so small.

And I'm not buying it that your WRX didn't do it. As an STi owner, I know for a fact that the WRX would jerk just as bad if in first or second when letting off because the clutch was so competition. At least you know your clutch is good in your tC. It's holding enough to do what the motor wants to do immediately.
