Default Blown speakers anyone?

So I have a 2012 TC which I love, but for whatever reason the speakers seem to have blown on me, even though I've never really blasted them or anything. Does anyone know what the left front speakers are? I also have bumper to bumper warranty which I assume would cover speakers, but im not sure if I want to get another set of stock speakers when they blew out so fast the first time.

Not sure about the 12 but on my 11 they were a 3 way compenent system that were 6.5 woofer, 4 inch mid and a 1 inch tweeter I would say get the free replacement until you fivure if you want to upgrade them... they are stock but they're Pioneer speakers and are they truely blown or is there other things going on

Yeah I'm just going to take it in for now. I'm not sure if its blown, but its rattling badly, I guess it could be a loose mount too

Could be but the stock pioneer speakers are actually ok some of the better stock speakers I've heard so yeah take the free repair until you decide you want to upgrade or not whether its all out or the plug and play oem+ which to me just seems like an upgrade you could get at a dealership its expensive but a plug and go

Front doors are 6x9. Rear panels have 6.5" coaxials.

Scion in general has GREAT stock stereo systems.... Just to give you a heads up, the dealership would need to verify that it wasn't caused by "blasting your music" or just simply cranking the base up all the way. More of the base comes from the door speakers and more of the sound/crisp music comes from your tweeters. They would have to see a failed piece on the speaker to cover it. They might just decide to listen and hear it blown.... then just say "ok, we will order it for you, covered by wty". Just go there without fustration or anger for a failed part..... the dealership will be more willing to help you out if your nice/friendly!!!

Erm actually yes that's all they would do. My dealership works this way, if its broke and under warranty it's fixed unless I messed with wiring or threw amp etc in.

not taking it of you being rude at all....

The way they would verify is to see if an oustide influence caused it to fail or if it had like a weak seal or something failed ect., rather than it being torn because of abuse. Just because it can crank up to 40 on volume with bass maxed to 10 doesnt mean its made to handle that all the time.

example is an automatic rifle, you can put a hundred round drum and just hold the trigger down and if it seizes its not warranty. Or if you lay a brick on the gas pedal in park and let it red line, just because the rpms can go that high doesnt mean it needs to be abused... know what i mean?
