Why do you say that? I didn’t think that they were available yet…
I think that they are lights in the foot wells and lighted door sills with a controller switch on the center console.
Can you elaborate some?

2tCornot2tC: Let me see if I can clarify...

Luisfc1972: Don't you have an '06 tC? Glad you're working on your car but you're in the wrong forum.

2tC: You're off your game this morning! I'd have thought you of all people would have caught this one.

Luis: I should probably add, this is the 2nd Gen tC forum, '11+ model yr. There is a 1st gen section where you'll find better answers for your car. Happy modding.

I missed where Luis mentions that this is for a Gen1…

I check again…and I still don’t see where he says this is about a Gen1 in a Gen2 forum…I need to get new glasses.

I do tend to glance over stuff fast…my bad…

I highly do not recommend cathodes for the footwells If you drive with them on a lot they last maybe a month. My leds have lasted over 9 so far. I'll post a pic later

^ Why would he search? Someone asks about interior light kits in the tC2 forum, there is no reason to assume he's talking about a tC1. 2tC was really just questioning the availability of a kit for the tC2, not the quality. What was even the value added of saying "try searching a bit"?

2tCornot2tC: I'm just giving you crap. I only knew because, like KidJustin noticed, he had other posts saying it's for an '06 tC.

upon searching you'll find out that the interior kits that SCION sell are crap,

can u read? i wasnt talking about if it was either for a tc1 or 2 nor do i care, its a SCION.. hence saying why it was good that he did not get it at the dealer, and if you or him would search a bit you'll figure that out.

^ Given that you boldly claim to represent a company, I would encourage you to be cautious in how you word things. Readers are likely to associate your responses with your company and if you display an unprofessional image, you are going to drive away potential business.

Moderators,
If we can get enough time for this gentleman to say the last word and then close this thread, I would appreciate it.

i would not spend money on worthless scion interior lighting products, if you must buy interior products,
I'd suggest buying anything from here

Too late for me…I’ve already ordered the interior lighting kit from Scion. I’ve had it on order for several weeks now. I’ve gotten the light controller unit installed and the lighted door sills. The seven colors are kind of cool…I guess I impress easily. I agree that most of the interior lighting kits are crap…I bought one for my Honda Fit from Honda and it was total crap. I guess I never learn the first time… But I am hoping that this one is more better… When I finally get this one in, I’ll be able to report on the “crapines” of this one…I’m still hoping that it’s not! I will give them a chance to redeem themselves.

The lighted sills are very nice…very well made and the amount of light is just about right. They are off to a good start.
