interior lights
do they sell interior light set somewhere? i regret not getting that installed at the dealer. you know the kit with lights where the pedals and center cup holders are.
I think that they are lights in the foot wells and lighted door sills with a controller switch on the center console.
Can you elaborate some?
2tC: You're off your game this morning! I'd have thought you of all people would have caught this one.
Luis: I should probably add, this is the 2nd Gen tC forum, '11+ model yr. There is a 1st gen section where you'll find better answers for your car. Happy modding.

I check again…and I still don’t see where he says this is about a Gen1 in a Gen2 forum…I need to get new glasses.
I do tend to glance over stuff fast…my bad…

Oznium.com has prewired single leds for cup holders and several kinds of led strips for footwells. Get some 22 gauge wiring some butt connectors or sauder a relay and switch and go to town. Another alternative is to splice into the wires that light you gear selector if your auto like I did.
I highly do not recommend cathodes for the footwells If you drive with them on a lot they last maybe a month. My leds have lasted over 9 so far. I'll post a pic later

because on the earlier years and every other scion xd xb tc xa.. they ALL sucked, try searching a bit
^ Why would he search? Someone asks about interior light kits in the tC2 forum, there is no reason to assume he's talking about a tC1. 2tC was really just questioning the availability of a kit for the tC2, not the quality. What was even the value added of saying "try searching a bit"?
2tCornot2tC: I'm just giving you crap. I only knew because, like KidJustin noticed, he had other posts saying it's for an '06 tC.

can u read? i wasnt talking about if it was either for a tc1 or 2 nor do i care, its a SCION.. hence saying why it was good that he did not get it at the dealer, and if you or him would search a bit you'll figure that out.

The lighted sills are very nice…very well made and the amount of light is just about right. They are off to a good start.
