Was getting barely 6 turns on the lug nuts after swapping to the new wheels.. and my fitment needed a little dialing in.. so H&R 50mm extended lug studs and 5mm hubcentric BloxSport spacers installed this weekend. With the correct tools the install was a breeze. I am now getting 17 lug turns and the fitment is so much cleaner.

H&R 50mm vs stock 40mm:

The new front fitment, might have been able to get away with a little thicker spacer but I was already rubbing on the splash shields over dips. Thought I'd be better off with a somewhat conservative spacer. It's flush enough for me, it's just the daily.

Wheel fitment dialed, proper badges installed on the car, ready to break necks.

O hai.. car is now Orange Virus V3 Tuned. EVERYTHING about the car feels better. Smoother idle, doesn't have that little stutter at low rpm, pulls a f*ckton harder. Time will tell for mpg but so far this has extremely exceeded my expectations (and they were high). 10/10 would recommend if you're thinking about it. (FYI I'm on the 91 octane tune because there's no 93 within a reasonable driving distance of me).

So I found some way less intense led strips for my footwells so swapped back to amber. So much happier I since can actually drive with these on, the last set was way too overpowering. If anyone is interested in putting in footwell lighting, 5050 leds are too bright, 335 leds are much better.

The build looks nice, I don't even think my build thread is still around or the pics are removed. Nice looking car. Hope its treating ya well. I am sitting @150k on original clutch. Hows yours sitting/feeling?

Thanks homes. 72k on mine currently, still smooth as butter but probably change the fluid soon. You ever changed yours? I was thinking about putting Redline MTL.

So... bought myself a christmas present. Been on the fence about this lip for a while since I'd never seen a tC in my color that I liked it on, but I'm super glad I picked it up. It's one of those parts that needs a few other parts installed along with it so it flows. Think it looks fantastic on the car. Aggressive but fairly subtle. It came paint matched and both the color and fitment are perfect. Also IMO it looks 1000x better than the factory spoiler too (I absolutely hate the factory spoiler lol). Really like how much it changed the profile of the car.

IkonMotorsports RS-style ABS lip spoiler installed:

Also tried to take halfway decent pics for once and actually put more than 2 seconds into the edit. I like how they turned out as well.

Haven't modded the car at all this year, but it's still breakin necks.

Rotated my tires this weekend and noticed the rears were wearing faster than the fronts. Guess the springs have settled a bit since I got my last alignment ~2 years ago. Half a degree of camber found its way into my rear suspension which caused the toe to be about 4x more than spec. That'll kill your tires every time. Still hard to believe the car is dropped 2" and my front camber is only -0.6° stock. Back to normal now, let's see how the v12's do from here on forward.

Looking tough on Forza Automotive's baller John Bean alignment rack with custom sensors.

Joined team drilled and slotted this weekend. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far I am loving the upgrade. Paired them with Hawk HPS pads as I've used them in previous vehicles and always had great results. The brakes are noticeably stronger and visually look a ton better. Wish they were a little larger, but not much you can do about that. Need to take some proper pics after I wash the car, but here's some closeups.

***The Hawks have now been replaced by Power Stop Z23's --- MUCH better braking with the Z23's***

Very Cool! You have put a tremendous amount of work into your tC and it shows!

Hey thanks dude. There are plenty that have done much more than me. I just wanted to make it a nicer car than it was stock but that is still reliable as a daily, I think I've accomplished that. Gearing up to pick up a project that I can completely ruin though.

Thanks dude! It's a metal 3d looking sticker cover I got off eBay. Actually looks pretty decent considering this is $9 and the Zelas airbag is ~$700. I found it on an FR-S forum but it fit our wheel as well. If you grab one, yank the horn fuse before installing so you don't p*ss all your neighbors off lol. I believe it was this one, https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-TOYOTA-...0AAOSwoF5cduQV

Good write-ups

Hows the DIY motor mount holding up? I'm about to buy a new OEM mount and fill it like you did, but I cant decide on whether or not to get 60A or 80A.

Thanks d00d. Still looks great since it's actual urethane and the mount was brand new so it sticks really well . I was under the car earlier this week and checked it out, still looks like it does in the pics. I would stay with the 60A. It makes the daily drive immensely better. I know I was originally debating going with the higher durometer as well but any harder and that weird shuddering thing the car does while idling with the AC on would get really bad. I'm veryyyy glad I wasn't able to get the TorqueSolutions part (75A) coz I absolutely would have ripped it out by now.

Lately I've been hating my shocks very much.. but nobody makes performance shocks.. What can you do?

Tein Street Basis coilovers to the rescue!

How the car is sitting with about a 1/4" drop up front and 1/2" in the back (compared to the S-Techs), for an even 25.1" fender height all around.

So far the ride quality is immensely better than with with the oem+S-Tech setup. It's smoother and stiffer at the same time. Feels like a sports coupe ought to. Really digging the upgrade.

**Have since upgraded to the Flex Z coilovers and they are an extremely better made product.
