Is The Dealer Telling Me Bull
Ok so the other day at work one of my bosses backed into my car. His muffler went through the lower grill and the damage looked pretty minimal. He offered to pay for it all. I took it to Team Toyota and the told me that he damaged my air conditioning condenser which is behind the lower grille, and all toegther the total would be 1200$. I said to do it, i mean he's paying for it, and they told me it would take 2 days to repair. Then they called me in 2 days and told me they need to re-align the radiator because it was pushed over, replace an air conditioning hose, and a cracked glass screen, and now it's taking a week and is 1500$ total.
Are they just pulling my leg about all this, because i really don't think he hit it that hard. Could this many things possibly be wrong? People are telling me they are messing with my car and i'm going to get it back and have something wrong with it in a month and have to take it back because of the stupid tech's up there. please let me know if i am being scammed

If it's the very lower grille that the muffler went through, i think that the dealer is probably being honest with you. I know there is some sort of air conditioner line that runs right behind that lower grille (it's very visible from the front of the car) and if it was hit hard enough it could surely mess up the condensor, the line and move the radiator. I'm not sure what a cracked glass screen is, so you're on your own with that one (i'm not even sure what a glass screen is!).
