I think those wheels will look nice on the white IST, oops I mean xA you modding Big Points for going all out!!

 

It is incredibly hard to get a sponsorship, or at least from the companies I'd be propositioning. I'm peculiar about how I do things and would hate to loose out on say as per what goes where.

well, my taillights are not in yet, but the front end conversion is. so i'll just go ahead and have ken ship the parts that are currently in and have to wait for my taillights to come in another shipment.

the pic of the bumblebee bike makes it look like it has no spokes on the rear tire....slick...dumb question, but Same bike?

 

yes same bike (Honda CBR929RR 2001), but i never noticed the thing with the wheel before now. but yeah, unless you knew where to look for the three spokes, you'd never have guessed it had any.

well, took for damn ever, but we finally found a shipping company willing to do a shipment of this size for a "reasonable" price. most places we have checked with were outrageous. i might have the front end conversion pieces late this week.

the car was in a bad wreck, i fell asleep while driving home one night, so it might not be completed till just before christmas, but we are placing the jdm parts on it.

 

Oh god that sucks! all that waiting and $$ for the bumper and everything else. Well I hope all is well with you and you get the modding done.

 

Front end parts were just shipped, should be in at the end of the week.

 

here's my next dilemma. in order for the rear jdm bumper and lip to work, you cannot run a rear crash reinforcement, structurally it is not required in japan. i'm wondering how much the rear reinforcement braces the car from impact, or if it was just added to pass low speed crash tests, ie. low dollar amount collision testing.

anyone have any rear end collision experience with this car? i know my current accident did and received no damage (structurally) back there when hitting the ditch since the rear end sits noticably higher.
