be careful with mixing regular antireeze and long life. you can cause some nasty gel deposits in ur motor. kinda like mixing dexacool with conventional coolant in GM's

thanks for that info. I plan to do a flush when I install the Killer Glass then add the fluid. Will this prevent this?

I would recomend bringing the vehicle to the dealer and have them flush the system with water a few times via machine. Afterwards just keep an eye on the fluide for a couple of months and flush it one more time in about 6 months to assure no build ups. Stay away from cleaning agents, just use water.

really?? wow ok this will be a bit of a pain I think. I think I am gonna have to do the flush and clean later after the Killer Glass install, when I have the time. I will just have to deal with the green fluid and red light for a bit. I will keep the same fluid that's in it now.

Oh, the car only has 700 miles on it

heh, well I never looked since it's so new. I just assumed it was Green since I never knew there were other colors till now

So maybe I did not have to buy any Red Fluid to begin with?

KK, will check in the morn. It's crazy cold out and dark. Where inside is the reservoir bottle for this car?? I know 3 places where there are white plastic containers in around the engine. One is right of the Battery (no idea), one is attached to the radiator (this one?)and the other is on the left side ( I think it's the windshield wiper fluid there).

I took a quick peek in the container attached to the radiator but I could not tell the color or if there was even anything really in it since it is night time etc.

Sorry I have not replied. getting ready for a long school year. I gotta say it's hard to say 100% if it's red cause there is so little in the plastic canister and the way it's angled I all I see is it's dark/ BUT I opened the radiator cover and saw what I think is a Pink kind of color.

Wish I knew enough about cars to say 100%.
