i'll take the 1zz or the new dual vvti 1.8 . yum. still my plan , just haven't set aside the money to carry it out

The 1zz is a weak turd. The 2zz is the way to go, but your 2.4 liter tC engine seems to hold up a pretty good amount of power stock when boosted. I'd just build your 2az (since its dirt cheap), purchase a standalone ECU, and go faster than a Celica for the fraction of the cost we spend to go fast with, since our aftermarket and short block prices are WAY more expensive.
