Default Problem Installing Injen Short Ram in xB

I tried to install it today, and it won't fit in because the filter hits the back of the fog light assembly. I popped out the fog light and put in the intake, but then, of course, the fog light won't go back in.

Anyone else have this problem? I searched and found nothing. Any help would be great.

I don't know what exactly I could be doing wrong. Its a pretty straight forward install. It will only go on one way, without much wiggle room in any direction. . Everything looks the way it should, it just seems like the filter is too big maybe.

It's a little tight getting it in...but it fits. I noticed after I initially installed it that the cone was rubbing up against the fog light, so I took out the short ram and re-adjusted it...and now...no problem.

Try sliding the cone further down the pipe.

I had a friend with a injen sri and his would pop his foglight out. Try adjusting it around and see if you could get it to fit

I guess I'll mess around with it some more, see what happens. Thanks.

Try turning the pipe so it sits at a different angle. I'll be willing to bet that will fix the problem.

Yep... Slide everything closer together. It should fit.

Sure you didn't get an injen sri for an xA by mistake?
