If the bore stroke ratio in the little 1.5 motor was different then it would respond better to what were talking about here. Since they have built an undersquare motor, designed for torque and mileage efficiency, all the changes (larger ID TB, short runner IM, possibly P&P cylinder head)are made for high rpm use. Since the valve train cant take more than 6500, your kinda fighting an uphill battle. That doesnt mean you cant improve in the coveted 4 to 6 K range, it becomes a trade off of sorts. How much low end do you lose. Whats the drivability going to be like. Do I have to mash it all the time just to get it moving. Power curve is more important, unless your all out racing. My thoughts on the keep it simple theory is, to radius the stock throttle body in the front and back sides, if theres enough material to make a difference. Coupled with trimming down the throttle shaft as much as is possible without losing reliability, would be the poor mans way to go. What you guys are talking about will work, but its almost like youll need/want aftermarket pistons, and cams to make it work, as well as the head to flow more. To that end, if anyones really interested, thats all I do is cylinder heads for the last 28+ years. Granted thier mostly motorcycle heads, and were taking them up in the 12.5K plus range w/ stuff that was designed for 9500, but the dynamics are the same. Ive done Honda, Mitsubishi, and domestic heads from time to time, but all I do is cylinder heads. Without getting into records and national championships, suffice it to say I know aluminum heads, kinda like the back of my hand..lol. My point being, if you use your head, and really think about sizing, etc, sometimes less is more.

do you mean one injector holder on one runner, 4injector holder on each runner?

if yes then im interested but how thick and what's the diameter will the runner be?
i would run another four stock injector with it..

Will there be engine check light issue if we change to bigger alu-intake manifold and TB???

That Sux!!! Will hopefuly i can get mine done in time. Dose anybody now how much boost the stock manifold will hold up to.
heard from a fren, he tried 20psi on our black plastic..
our stock intake manifold that connect to TB diameter is 47mm if i remember correctly. but it's kind of small inside the intake manifold..

but our TB is 45mm..
another way is to bore off 2mm, bore our stock TB from 45 to 47mm.

if only we change to alu-intake manifold, provided the
alu-intake manifold ID is 50mm then it will be a good combo.
mid-high end power will gain more.

Thats why you preorder the OBX throttle body that I sell.. 50mm... Coupled with the manifold I am fabricating, should be a good upgrade..

Sorry if I might have embarrassed you with my comment and I did leave a smiley face

I believe all the info you seek is in this thread. Allot of people seem to come in late and ask similar questions as you did expecting us to sum up complete discussions and facts. If I misunderstood your post as among the kind I just described I am sorry. If I did not than well....
