Yea since then I installed the Haltec Sprint 500 standalone. I raised the rev limit to 7300rpm (from factory 6400). Car should be good for a bit over 140mph now with factory gearing. Honestly I don't think Id ever want to go over 140 in the egg.

It will run you about $1000-$1200 I believe. We sell them but havent advertised them for our motor yet. We make the plug-n-play harness for it so all you have to do it plug it up. The first time we used this was when my friend/customer had us build up his xB1. We were able to get the car running with no existing base map within 10 minutes, and the dyno tune went as easy as a piggy-back tune. The unit itself is tiny. Also has cool features, like 2-step launch control and it also can control a boost noid.

For the harness alone your looking at around 416.50. If you get the one from ebay make sure it comes with the Lead harness. Also We deal directly with Haltech, Im a little "Iffy":? about ebay. I would go through someone with some sort of warranty.

Let me know if I can help.

eeek, that harness would make things so much easier but @ that price would set me back another month or two. ill see how my check goes, try stacking up that OT as much as possible.

can i buy the harness direct from your guys website? or is still not advertised yet?

Found my Flip camera and also footage of my 1st practice session at Aprils time attack.
This was my 1st time out with the larger turbo set-up. I learned 3 things... 1) I still am in need of an lsd. 2) I needed more rpm to extend the powerband. 3) The factory ecu would NOT allow my car to go past 115-120mph.

Those things are now addressed except for the lsd. This was at 220whp

Just an update , my plan is to switch to a smaller turbo. The T3/4 stage 5 (rated for 430hp) turbo I have is a bit too large but fairs very well on a road coarse. I am out to get a broad powerband but retain the same peak power (247whp). I am most likely gonna switch to a T3 frame turbo rated for 250-300 hp and ring it out.

Must be T3 footed? I'd like to make some suggestions.

Yea im either gonna go with a t3 60 trim .48 exhaust .60 compressor..... or a smaller GT-28 with t3 exhaust housing.

I am gonna wait until we dyno a customers xB with the GT28rs, and see how the powerband looks.

I like the power my cars has now, but want to shift the powerband. I also have considered just switching the exhaust housing on my current turbo from a .63 to a .48, but I dont see it moving the spool-up more than a few hundred rpm.
