I listen to mostly Drum and Bass,
my current set up is
Alpine
-9855 HU
-sps-171a components
-MRV-F545 amp (125w x 4 @ 14.4v. . . I assume that I am getting roughly about 100w per channel cause the car normally is at 13.6v)
-2 Jl 10w1v2-4
Currently I find that the system is lacking in midbass. . . so much so I am getting midbass but it's just not enough. The midwoofers are in the stock position and the tweeters are located in the sail panels of the doors.
I have tried to mess with the eq, time correction, and crossover. All with no luck. Don't get me wrong I am getting midbass but it is weak. I just wanted to get some suggestions about what I might be able to do to kick it up a little, before I go and buy another set of components. Or even a suggestion on components would fine also. Right now I am looking at the Orion P6 series, Elemental Designs ed 6500i, Alpine type x, or some others I can't think of at the moment. Any help appriciated, flamers not wanted. Thanks ahead of time.

Only a little patch it's been on my todo list. . .lol As far as sealed up the baffles I made weren't the greatest, but they were made more for spacing. I didn't have any gaps. SHould I be using something to seal it in better? I'll will be deadening the door with the left over dynomat in a few days. So if anyone has any DIY's or suggestions on sealing it would be of great help.

sounds like a plan. I suppose I will be dynomat'ing the doors soon. I'll let you know how it comes out. If nothing else works any suggestions for a set of components with really good midbass output?
teh doors are not the problem
it is the teeny tiny dash speakers
i hacked some of the dash away and fit some BEEFY 5-1/4's
really brought the bass up front (Earthquake speakers)
and Earthquake 6-1/2 components in doors
i have had a few people listen and it really made a difference over stock or even aftermarket 4's
the image is a little smeared
but the volume and energy up front is a lot higher
I listen to D&B too (teebee, TechnicalItch, DieselBoy...)
