Default Cables under shift boot

Hi everybody. I noticed that my shift boot was loose so I opened it up and I was surprised to see two cables. Here are the pictures. Does anybody know what these are for? I bought the car used.

The blue plug has 4 holes in it and the white one has 10.

Many thanks!

pretty sure it's for the ipod and aux inputs. just need the jacks and you're good to go if you want ipod and aux in.

awesome! Although I have to check if the cable is still connected. It had the 2005 radio in it before the dealer informed me that he changed the radio to the T1806 which I believe has the ipod connector straight to the head unit. Would you happen to know exactly what cable I need to get my ipod or aux connected? the boot seemed like a good spot to have the cables running.

I believe they are for the automatic shifter,( lighting neutral saftey switch, led cup holders) Those are the ones( blue connector) that have been used for such.

You'll notice they are not plugged into anything at the moment , right?
Our cars have the wiring for all of the options they could come with. Cheaper to build 1 (one) wireharness and install in many cars than build many and have to install one with the right option harness for each different customer( less likely of a mistake being made).

I built Toyotas for 13 years , I know their reasoning.

Remember they ( Scions ) were sold so you can make it your own through customization . Using only one harness so you can add each option as YOU want it.

If you look , they all have fog light wiring installed , even if your didn't come with them. They also have the wires for the Scion Security System , but how many actually got that system?
