Default Can you suggest an inexpensive Stereo head unit to add Bluetooth and phone charging?

Just bought a 2005 Scion xA. Looking to add a new audio head unit that will add Bluetooth and phone charging while matching the interior and not costing a ton.

Easy installation would be great. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

-Andrew

A few guys on some of the other forums seem to be pretty pleased with the Android-based head units you can find on Amazon, with Joying HUs seeming to get consistently good reviews.

You didn't say whether you had a iPhone or Android but if you have an Android phone that would be a good place to start as some of the HUs are relatively inexpensive and pretty feature rich.

Additionally, Crutchfield has excellent choices and descriptions of their head units. Not saying that you must buy from them (Best Buy has online price matching as do others) but if you buy from them, you get instructions on how to switch, plus you can call them for instructions!

Agreed...they've got a great selection and typically always have very good descriptions and, although I have yet to buy anything from them, I have heard their support is equally as good.

Red face Hizpo Android Head Unit in 2004 xB (and other Toyotas)

Old thread, but I have new info.

Last year (2019) I put this Hizpo (they DON'T HAVE A MODEL NUMBER!) in a 1991 Lexus LS400 for my older daughter.
Still working, rear camera is the best feature.
04/2020 Now I have put a slightly newer one in my younger daughter's brand new 2004 Scion xB.
Rear camera again!
I have lots of info for anyone interested. Should I post more?
Thanks!
